HDPE>>Pipe Extrusion
It is a linear polymer with high crystallinity (70-90%), high density (0.94-0.97 g/cm³), excellent rigidity (tensile strength 20-35 MPa), and resistance to environmental stress cracking. Its physical properties include a high melting point (125-135℃), low moisture permeability (<0.5 g·mm/m²·day), and excellent low-temperature impact resistance (maintaining toughness at -50℃); its chemical properties are resistant to acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and most organic solvents, but not to strong oxidants (such as concentrated nitric acid) and high-temperature hydrocarbons (soluble in xylene at >80℃). For long-term outdoor use, UV stabilizers need to be added to prevent photo-oxidation, and it exhibits excellent electrical insulation properties (dielectric strength >20 kV/mm).
